Meet Our Staff

Michelle has owned Lansdale Montessori School for over 30 years. For much of that time she served as director and also led one of our classrooms, nurturing a generation of Montessori children. She is also a parent and grandparent of Montessori graduates.  

Mary Billy directs our PM Extended Care Program and also works as a classroom Assistant Teacher. She has been part of the LMS team for over ten years.  She also brings to our community the wisdom and knowledge gained from her prior career as a registered nurse. 

Amy joined LMS in 2021 as an Assistant Teacher, bringing years of experience in early childhood education. She works with Mary Burnell in one of our four primary classrooms each morning, and with our oldest afternoon group - our kindergarteners and some older pre-kindergarteners. 

Aundrea first joined the LMS community as Montessori parent to three LMS graduates. She later joined our staff as an Assistant Teacher, and now works with Mary Billy in our PM Extended Care program. In addition to her years of experience with young children, Aundrea shares the talents she has cultivated in her ongoing career as an artist and photographer. 

Mary Burnell joined the LMS community as a Montessori parent, and went on to obtain her Montessori credential and M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education. She has been leading one of our four primary classrooms for over twelve years and works in the afternoons with our kindergartners and older pre-kindergarteners. After serving as Assistant Director for several years, she recently assumed the role of Director.

Afroja joined the LMS staff in 2023 as our Hall Monitor and Recess Assistant. Her love of children immediately shone through. She ensures our children's safety while promoting their independence and well-being.  Afroza also works with Mary Burnell and Amy Blascovich each afternoon.

Kiran joined the LMS community as a Montessori parent to two daughters. She went on to obtain her Montessori credential and M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education. She leads one of our four primary classrooms each morning, and works with our youngest children in the afternoons. 

Mrs. Martel joined LMS as a Montessori parent, who was already also a credentialed Montessori Teacher.  Over twelve years ago she joined the LMS staff, leading one of our four primary classrooms, and workng with our four-year-olds in the afternoons. 

Lakri joined LMS after many years of experience working in childcare settings.  She assists Robin Martel in both her primary AM class and her afternoon class. 

Pauline came to LMS in 2021 with years of experience as a credentialed Montessori lead teacher. She works as an Assistant Teacher in Kiran's primary classroom. 

Jayanthi came to LMS in 2024 after years of experience in Montessori early childhood education. She has her AMS early childhood credential from the Princeton Center for Teacher Education.  She leads one of our four primary classrooms.  

Mrs. Wonsidler joined LMS as a Montessori parent, who soon became part of the staff.  In addition to her years of experience as an Assistant Teacher at LMS, Mrs. Wonsidler worked in early childhood education in Germany.  She works with Jayanthi one of our four primary classrooms.
