Celebrating over 30 years, Lansdale Montessori School is a private academic school licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to early childhood instruction; utilizing the Montessori philosophy, methods and materials.

Admission Requirements
Children may be accepted who are between the ages 2-years-and-7-months and 6 years old.

Children attending LMS must be bathroom independent. Tuition payments will not be refunded if a family withdraws their child who is not ready to be bathroom independent. ​

Note: Be advised that programs are structured to enrollment and subject to change.

Learn about LMS
Before making this important decision for your child, we invite you to learn more about LMS and the Montessori philosophy. We'd like to tell you Our Story, and introduce the key elements of Montessori education. We want to tell you about our curriculum and programs, and invite you to go for a virtual classroom tour. It is also important to take a look at our Tuition and Fees, and make sure they work for your family.

Your enrollment decision
After learning about us and seeing the school, we hope you'll have all the information you need for your decision. When you know that LMS is the best fit for your child, you are ready to submit an application.

Visit for a tour
The most important step toward making the best decision for your child is meeting us and visiting the school in person! We offer two options. Sign up via email for one of our scheduled information session/tours OR call us at 215-362-1427 and schedule an independent tour. We encourage parents to first tour without their child so they can devote their attention to observation of the school. You are welcome to return with your child, and admitted children will be invited to individual orientation meetings.

Acceptance
We make acceptance decisions with the following priorities in mind: currently enrolled children and their siblings, returning LMS families and students transferring from other Montessori programs due to relocation, classroom availability, balance of age and gender in classrooms, and date of application. If we are able to accept your child, you will receive an invitation to join our student information system Transparent Classroom, and will be asked to complete a more detailed Enrollment Form and pay the applicable enrollment fee(s). The enrollment form and fees are required secure your child's spot at LMS.
